On the lighter side: Fun with Fishies - Sunset - 07-25-2012 02:24 PM Atlantic sword with seaweed salad and rabe. ![]() Alaskan halibut with asparagus and garlic cream sauce. Quinoa with lemon and chive. ![]() No real recipes per se, but maybe a few tricks? -Buy the prepared seaweed salad. Don't ask me how I know. -I don't have the fancy asparagus blancher thingy, so I just peel the thick skin at the base and blanch in a saute pan. -Always saute halibut skin down, then finish in the oven(old pie tins work great!). -Always rinse quinoa thoroughly prior to cooking to avoid a gummy/starchy mess. And use chicken stock instead of water for the cooking liquid. Nothing earth shattering, just a couple tasty combinations...
