RE: Favourite Films - Jetrow - 11-26-2011 09:57 AM I love the old Don Knotts flicks. He was amazing in his prime I think. Jerry Lewis too. He just doesn't get the respect he should have for some of his movies. The Bell Boy was fantastic. The Nutty Professor also a great movie of his. Here is a gem that few know about. If you remember who Jackie Gleason was, there is a movie he did in 62 called Gigot. He like Lewis in The Bell Boy, doesn't say a single line. It is one of my favourites from when I was a kid. A masterful job in my opinion. I loved that movie when I was a kid! RE: Favourite Films - Bageleth - 11-26-2011 01:08 PM I have one that I need to add to my collection of favorites. We watched "Super 8" last night! Great movie! RE: Favourite Films - Scythe Matters - 11-26-2011 06:34 PM So I hear, Bagel. Need to see that. We watched Thor last night. It had its silliness but it was still pretty good. That guy who played Thor, though.... WOW! Buff and gorgeous! RE: Favourite Films - nettiesaur - 11-26-2011 06:35 PM (11-26-2011 06:34 PM)Scythe Matters Wrote: So I hear, Bagel. Prior to that "Princess Bride" was on. Two eighties fun classics. RE: Favourite Films - smoker guy - 12-01-2011 08:36 PM I watched an oldie but goodie today...Billy Jack. I love the fact that Howard Hessman (Dr. Johnnie Fever) was in the film and wasn't listed in the credits.

Watched the final Harry Potter DVD the other night (first time for hubby, second time for me/the teenager). Tonight she will go w/a gaggle of girlfriends to see "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn." I'll wait 'til that comes out on DVD. I was forced to sit through the other ones in the theater, and although I mostly enjoyed the story, it was very distracting to hear a bunch of teens 'n' tweens gasp, giggle and whisper when either main male character popped up on screen. Hopefully I'll avoid that from the comfort of my own couch. Oh PS Go Team Jacob!
