Came across one of my 'all-time most recent' comedy faves last weekend, 'Kingpin', with Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid, Bill Murray, etc. and watched it again. If you've never seen it, you need to! I know, it's pretty 'campy' humor, but still laugh-out-loud funny at the same time! Here's the YT sampler:

I happened upon "Electra Glide in Blue" (Robert Blake) on TV recently and watched a few minutes. I realized I hadn't seen it since 1975 or so. I purchased it on DVD and look forward to seeing it once more. It is an unusual film in several ways. Worth a look!

Amazon just shipped my Blu-Ray copy of Jaws!! I've heard that it's gorgeous and there are lots of extras. Can't wait!

Watched the Blu-Ray of Jaws earlier tonight. It looks fantastic! Crystal clear and gorgeous. This is one of my all-time favorite movies and it was nice to watch it uncut and complete. There are lots of extras that I didn't have time to explore tonight - looks like I have some stuff to watch this week!

Ya know, I can't for the life of me understand why Robert Shaw wasn't nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Quint. His story about the Indianapolis is riveting. That was his second try, though. He'd been drunk the first time and messed up. He did another take the next day and put in that performance in one take!

I loved Robert Shaw. I was devastated when he died suddenly in 1978.

I am looking forward to the new Total Recall, and Bourne films.
