The Gruntled Thread - Snapdad - 06-07-2010 07:42 PM I do find that the process of grinding coffee beans and preparing the beverage, along with its' nascent traits filling the room and soon my palette gives me great comfort. RE: The Gruntled Thread - Mufasa - 06-08-2010 03:41 PM The love of my daughters... (and that green-eyed blond that lives with me) Anything that moves me - Art, Music, Literature, Poetry ... no matter what it may be. The sound of waves on a shoreline. Storms seen from a distance, and the change in temperature as the front moves over you. Fresh seafood... Period. The trust that my friends have for me. Diving deeper into turn three - exiting with the rear tire trying to escape, and the front tire lifted... knowing that you just stuffed the best rider in your division right in front of his cheering section. The knowledge that no matter what may come - I gave it all I had. RE: The Gruntled Thread - Bageleth - 06-09-2010 09:22 AM - the sound of my children laughing (because it means they are happy......and they aren't arguing) -sitting outside on the patio, having coffee with my husby, watching the sun rise, and hearing the sounds of the world waking up -the sound of rain at night when I'm going to sleep -seeing movies at the drive-in -spending time with my favorite grandma -road trips -being a trustworthy person -scrapbooking -I love that my kids still like to be with me, even when we're out in public (and I really try to not embarrass them) RE: The Gruntled Thread - Neilbubbachuck - 06-09-2010 11:06 PM (06-08-2010 03:41 PM)Mufasa Wrote: The love of my daughters... Cats purring. Candlelight. Hours passing unnoticed, finishing a great book that I was only going to begin. Ghost Rider was one of those.
