Didn't you get the memo???? Your day was last Friday...

Gonna take a lot longer than 24 hours....

Lulu always hands me the remote control just as she is leaving and tells me I have absolute power over the house.

My pet peeve today is any mechanical item that stops working in grand fashion.
For me it is the washer that is taking in too much water, and flooded the laundry room before I caught it. The sink was NOT backed up, the machine just overwhelmed it.
Thank goodness the previous owners bought house insurance(fix or repair stuff for a year) for me, cause I don't think they can fix this puppy. It sounds like a computer problem. One new washer please!

That IS a PITA, nettie! The W/D here are the newest of our appliances so I guess the rest of them are plotting which of them goes next and when... Wink

I've noticed that a lot of people with the newer style, front load, computer controlled washers are having a lot of problems and breakdowns with them. I have the old kind, that loads on the top, and operates with the old timer dial you twist, and it has been extremely reliable year after year. Sometimes simpler is better. I think they still build them that way. But it doesn't have a hood ornament though, like those fancy new ones do. Undecided

True, this is computer controlled, top loading, high efficiency, and as I looked at the warranty book, 4 years old! My 10 year old Sear's washer was still running( I gave it away when I moved). However, they had 3 little kids, so I'm sure this one got a pounding.
