RE: The Pet Peeve - Boomer - 03-07-2012 09:28 PM Ok...at the time I was feeling no pain, and the stupid shore patrol idiot wouldnt let me barf on his precious lawn. RE: The Pet Peeve - Jenn - 03-08-2012 08:34 AM Big one that bugs me Those idiots that crank the volume and bass in their cars and subject everyone else to the stomach-churning thud-thud-thud throbbb thud thud of their stereos! ![]() ![]() ![]() Good LORD people, what the H3LL?!? ![]() ![]()
RE: The Pet Peeve - VincentUlyssis - 03-08-2012 09:07 AM I hear ya on that! I can actually sense the screws, nuts and bolts loostening on my car. I think they broke the seal on my windshield! RE: The Pet Peeve - 2Beers - 03-08-2012 09:32 AM Side note on the THUMP-thump-thump -Thudd music. Mr.2Beers had a coworker whose son was always playing the music not only with the bass cranked to "11", but on the highest volume. As Vincent said it can loosen nuts, bolts----well because of the repeated abuse to the car's main frame became cracked. RE: The Pet Peeve - Jenn - 03-08-2012 10:11 AM Don't know if it's been mentioned (coz I haven't yet read all 91 pages of this thread...) but... Kids walking around with their pants down past their butts! No one wants to see you boxers, kid. Pull up your pants! I think they broke the seal on my windshield! Whenever I hear one go by (sometimes at 4am) I console myself with the thought that these folks will be deaf by the time they are 30. I'm thinking of investing in Miracle Ear ![]() (03-08-2012 10:11 AM)Jenn Wrote: Don't know if it's been mentioned (coz I haven't yet read all 91 pages of this thread...) but... They sure don't know anything about where that "fashion" originated or why, otherwise they'd never wear them that way! I'm thinking of printing up little cards that read: Did you know that wearing one's pants the way you are started in prisons as a signal that the wearer was offering himself for anal sex? Yeah, I didn't think so.... Oooh, awesome idea! And little signs, too. Put 'em up in the gas station windows, and in the malls! See how fast those pants come up! LOL! Our next door neighbor's son dresses that way and has his music up to "thump-THUMP" levels a lot. My daughter calls him "the neighborhood thug" RE: The Pet Peeve - Scythe Matters - 03-13-2012 02:10 AM So he'll end up both deaf and badly dressed
RE: The Pet Peeve - Jetrow - 03-13-2012 11:37 AM My dad used to get exercised over Elvis. heh heh The more that things change...
