Happy Mothers' day everyone!! Especially you first-timers!!

I picked up the Bubba "Be careful or you`ll wind up in my novel" T shirt today - and it is green - I am not sure if that it is the chartreuse green - but to me (I am red green colour blind - a real bummer at traffic lights), but it looks like it is........

So I will mail out to the Brum gig as suggested with our compliments from the Grill........

Who wants to start a poll on whether -

He will wear it at the gig
Not wear it at the gig
Give it to Michael
Give it to Brutus
Give it to Olivia as a big nightie
Give it to Ged/Alex
Give it to Lorne to polish them DW`s

Haha! That's brilliant NWoBHM! It'd be cool if maybe Brutus or one of the other lads could get a quick snap of him wearing it just to show he got it ok. Good luck with it!

It struck me earlier tonight that WE may ALL end up in Bubba`s novel/news etc, at the next outing - no matter what - we gave it a go.....

I would be surprised if 1. it was chartreuse green (because that would be a very bright green/yellow, brighter than grass) and 2. if it was, that he would wear it, lol. My daughter has a chartreuse green t-shirt that she only wears as a pajama shirt.

However, you never know. He is wearing a yellow shirt in his B&G pic so maybe that bright green has possibilities, lol.

believe that he would stop by from time to time to look at his "creation."
However, some in here are close to him and can just fill him in if he ask.
So who knows (someone?)?
I personally (and this is me speaking out of pure ignorance) don't think
that he would actively participate in the forums. Here is why; when
people get wind about the presence of any celebrity, the tend to stop
being themselves and start acting in all kinds of funny ways. And that's
what would happen here if he were openly participating in the forums.
His absense or non-participation is what keeps these forums "honest."
People need to know who they are and be comfortable in their own skin.
They don't need to pretend to be somebody they're not in order to gain
someone else's approval. Let's face it, while we all can choose to get
along, the truth is, we all have our preferences to those that we choose
to spend our time with. In that aspect, we are all alike.

True, but I tend to believe that a core group of us would act just as weird as we have been, despite the presence of Bubba. It's just the way we are.

Ummm...yup. It wouldn't change a thing for a few of us if he stopped by now and then. He would just see that we are a little off Tongue

Dodgy a little off, yeah, we're a LITTLE off! That explains it!

This is one of the few places that I can be "a little off". I can't be as "off" when I'm on mom duty, so this place is nice and fun Smile

A little off, or having a good time, is "normal" for most people. The point
is, there are so many people out there that if they got wind NEP was
frequenting the place, they would be hanging out in droves. And viola,
suddenly there would be an explosion of "Fans" who all ride bikes, love
to go to Africa, drink Macallen, smoke red apples, ride a BMW motorcyle,
know a great deal of history on various topics etc,, etc ,,, etc. Know
what I mean? If you/we all act "off" that's fine. People, however, do get
starstruck and think that by some odd chance, they will end up being
"Friends" with their favorite celebrity. And most people, when in the
presence of someone they look up to, will not be honest. They won't
have the courage to say things like " You know, that last album was really
good, but I didn't care for the first song; it was actually kind of lame."
Know what I mean -- people tend to lose their sense of self when in the
presence of celebrities. So is it any wonder Mr Neil gets creeped out by
"the fans?"
Anyways,,, interesting topic.

Totally understandable.

If you had made it black I could see, but you never know.

Knowing me and my luck (The skipper of the Titanic was a genius compared to me!) I'll end up on the Bubba "Hit" Squad....where they send some 6 foot 8 inch italian mamalookah with a baseball bat after me to knock some sense into this noggin of mine....something my wife has wanted to do for many years now but has failed to do so. Either that or I'll end up running into Michael "The Deerslayer" when he is having a bad day!

I can't imagine anyone coming after you with a bat Boomer!
Just the tattoos and motorcycle would make me afraid to Smile
