RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - Brutus - 10-05-2010 06:17 AM Kilts, thongs VLA..... Now that's a series of serious segues, sayin'? Not entirely sure what this thread is all about but I'm liking it for some strange reason. Glad y'all are having fun with it. RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - Boomer - 10-05-2010 08:10 AM This thread is like the tides - just let it be! Kinda wierd but hopefully in a good way. Think someone called it the "locker room"??? RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - Bageleth - 10-05-2010 02:28 PM (10-05-2010 08:10 AM)boomer Wrote: This thread is like the tides - just let it be! Kinda wierd but hopefully in a good way. Well it was starting to sound like one. A bit "guy" oriented. I was out of my element (should I change my name to "Donnie"?) RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - Boomer - 10-05-2010 03:40 PM Don't change your name - my brother is DONNIE....and it just wouldnt be the same! Sometimes guys have to learn to "temper" their enthusiasm for life. We have one woman in our office who is a real good sport about it all, but between the engineers and the surveyors in our office, we are a pretty hard lot to be around. Kinda like being a sailor - and those guys are the worst! If it weren't for our "friends" putting this al together, we wouldn't be making any new friends, and I like to believe thats what this place is all about. Hey B - hows them ribs holding up? RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - Neilbubbachuck - 10-05-2010 05:09 PM I'm currently in a ups box, on my way to rio. Bumpy as heck too. Brutus sign for me ok. It's hot in here! Gotta go bye RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - Bageleth - 10-05-2010 05:15 PM (10-05-2010 03:40 PM)boomer Wrote: Don't change your name - my brother is DONNIE....and it just wouldnt be the same! I try to be a good sport ![]() I'm used to hearing the conversations between the young teenagers in the house. There aren't too many mentions of thongs around here, LOL RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - RN-PRN - 10-05-2010 05:45 PM I am very used to these types of conversations. Working in an urban ER and hospital, most of the staff has to let off a little steam and try to lighten the moment at times. Our conversations were much worse than this, sadly to say. Now about those thongs....
RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here... - Bageleth - 10-05-2010 06:24 PM I might have heard something similar in the breakroom when I worked at a Safeway many, many years ago. There were definitely some conversations there that were interesting, and I think that a thong was mentioned at least once. Now I'm home, all day long, with the kids. Talking about thongs would gross my daughter out, and make my son ask, "What's a thong?" and I can no longer tell him that it was what we called a flip-flop when I was a kid. Mentally, he wouldn't understand what I was talking about and would ask more questions than I care to answer about it.
