Recipes and hints for those who want to cook on the light side.

I can make a meal on veggies (sometimes). I love stir fry... but there are times when I just want to go all bunny on some vegetables.
I throw anything I can think of into a red hot pan, dowse it with EVOO and whatever spices look good, maybe some sesame seed, and have at it.
Simple. Fast. A break from red meat (you will seldom hear me say that in a sentence...)

A BREAK from red meat?!?!?! Have you lost your mind?

I should talk. I do about the same thing, but somehow a big chicken breast always manages to find its way in there too.

Is this now the new thread for our 30 pound challange? The place where our derisive laughter and taunting shouts of encouragement shall lay spawn? PerfectSmile

My new song and attitude for 2011 is "Show Don't Tell".

RE: Cooking Light - Nettie - 01-01-2011 02:13 PM

Mine is "One little Victory" at a time.

RE: Cooking Light - Boomer - 01-01-2011 02:23 PM

I don't know if I could ever narrow it to just one, but I sense in the coming months that "Ghost Rider" and "One Little Victory" will be part of my life.

There are plenty of vegetarian products that closely resemble meatRolleyes
I've been eating it for at least 10 years
