My neighbor...three houses down actually, was on his Harley Road King this afternoon when I got home. HE pulled up, gave me that chesire cat gril, and pulled back into his drive. IT was 33 so not too bad. Tomorrow morning low is supposed to be about 12 degrees.

Air stagnation warning due to lack of wind and moisture keeping the burn ban in effect. Can't even start the fireplace without fear of the 'Fire Police' breaking down the door, extinguishers in hand, to keep the smoke and smog down lest we pollute the entire valley! Luckily we have a gas furnace, or you can bet I'd have the sparks-a-flyin' outta' the chimney!

See? And you guys thought I was tripping! They really crack down on us here in WA if we burn anything during a ban!

I don't think any motorcycles will be out around here tomorrow. With a low of 8 degrees tonight, even the diehards are going to give up and travel in a cage.

Mr.2Beers is having the notion to ride tomorrow, but if the white fluffy freezing water particles fall from the sky he says it will be a cage day.

I actually rode today. Did a Patriot Guard detail for our base MC Safety Coordinator's father who passed last week. It was hovering around freezing but it was clear and very sunny. I had just a pair of heavy denim BMW riding pants w/ thermals on and my spiffy new jacket with just a long-sleeved t-shirt on and I was quite comfortable! Thank the Watchmaker for heated grips! Man, they are nice! Smile

Good fer you CD! Thanks for doing that! I looked at those riding pants when I got my new lid. Those would really work for me thats fer sure...just wish I had either heated grips or gloves. The hands get awful cold!!! Temp this AM - 15 degrees.

I might have been riding this weekend had I gotten the new chain and sprockets bought and installed. Since I don't start the new job til 12-12-11, money is a wee bit tight. Oh well, Once everything is bought, all I'll have to do is trailer it up to my buddy's in Iowa Falls, and he's gonna show me how to change it all, and help me with some other maintainence. Yeah Ole'!Big Grin

Upon looking at the frost on the ground at 5 a.m. this morn Mr.2Beers decided to cage it, however he said that after our company leaves on Sunday we should go for a ride( provided there isn't lots of the white fluffy stuff around). Sunshine today with light winds and very cool temps.

Not sure if they are still there, but Ren Man recently got some great heated gloves at Costco for a decent price. I'll ask him about them when he gets home tonight.

Owww gosh. The ones I keep finding are pretty costly, but in my view if you ride cold, well worth the price.

I just havent got that far yet.
