WINDY, WINDY, WINDY! SEVERAL DAYS IN A ROW.
Tomorrow starts the Farmer's Market in town. I just got an email that said they prefer that we don't use EZ-ups, as we're to get gusts up to 55 MPH! If we do use EZ-ups, we aren't allowed to use cement blocks to anchor them. They suggested 5 gallon buckets filled with sand or gravel. Guess it's off to Home Depot after the hockey game. ARG!

Yikes! Hope that works out and good luck with sales!

The wind was/is incredible Angry We showed up for the Farmer's Market and it was too windy. They said not to use EZ ups, but I have several things that hang. After going back and forth about the wind, we decided to go home and try next week. Bummer.....

Sick humid. I'm talking crazy stupid kind of humid. The kind of humid that doesn't just stay outside, but permeates through the freakin' walls and makes even inside feel uncomfortable.

When the early morning temp is in the low 60's, you really should not end up sweating-drenched from just taking the trash out! Dodgy

Only up-side I can see... our little garden loves it. Everything out there is so GREEN right now!!! LOL Rolleyes

So I guess I'll just have to deal. and sweat.

*sigh*

Has anyone else lost power today due to the heat? Apparently ours was off just long enough to make the clocks blink around 6 hours ago.

Does anyone have an excess of rain they could send to us here in Utah and over to Colorado? I'm tired of smelling smoke all the time! Sad

Sure, no problem. this is what happened in Sicamous, which is
just a bit northeast of us, last week.

And it's still raining out there. Time to get started on the ark I think...

I'm routing my cousin south and west from Calgary through Kingsgate, along I90, then up I5 to Vancouver: with the long weekend traffic, I figure it's the easiest way with the load they are driving.

Oh goody. Dodgy Record-breaking heat.
All. across. the. damn. State.

Saturday we hit 104 F. (and that was the high, right here, other parts of the state were even hotter! Yuck!) It's supposed to be another scorcher today, too. Add to that, the air quality warnings (level red...) and it's just... Yuck.
I don't do well in heat. At all. Sad

It is warm out, and I'm trying to be thankful because 15 below and 4 inches of snow could be worse. Smile However we really could use some rain. Our village is under a burn ban.
