A standing testimonial that water tables, at one point, were far higher than they are now.
Beers - you should see some of the formations on the great plains. Hard to believe that it was all under a shallow sea at one time.

lol, they did. I was there early so I took the opportunity for an "artsy" photo before there were bums in those chairs

I think they might have been "sanitary" for the next half an hour after I took the photo. There were a few interesting characters sitting in them later.

On Lake Superior in MICH's U.P. they are taken by Pictured Rocks National Lake shore near Munising, MI. The sound of the water as it breaks onto the rock formations and crashes upon the shore makes for a wonderful soothing sound, and the water is always a balmy temp of oh... 40 degreees in the middle of July.
