Last night as my Hubby and I came back from a nice ride on the bike we pulled into the driveway and saw "our" bunnies watching us. After the bike was tucked away in the garage we walked out into the drive and watched the bunnies play in our neighbors yard. They were playing their form of tag and leap frog. It was fun to see them romp, hop and scamper by bounding up to one another touching noses or nipping at their tails and then running away.

Thats kind of wierd.....we use the word "bunnies" as a sort of female code word around my house. Usually if I hear that word - its time for me to descend to the Cave of Man and hide!

2Beers, that kind of thing makes me feel good, too. I just love the sound of the birds, and watching all sorts of critters scampering around our woods and yard.

Last night before waiting up to watch Bubba on TV, Gio and I jammed. I was on my 5 string bass and G was on the kit. We rocked!!! That made me feel good. With concert season and NYSSMA music festivals over, I'm getting a renewed sense of my REAL passion!

When the voices in my head get too loud, I pack a PB&J, bottle of water, my camera and hit the back forty. I abut conservation land and can wander aimlessly for hours. I've walked all the trails; what I have been doing now is walking the game, or animal trails. It's amazing what you'll find just a few paces off the beaten path (road not taken). I have become an avid antler shed hunter - they drop off every spring - and I have a large box full of them. And being aware of the beauty of the forest and having that camera ready.
