Late night for myself, the future SIL as we waited for my daughter to get home from work. It was 3:45am before we said good nite. So to start the today there is a coffee cake cooling on the counter and with a cup of coffee in hand I'm listening to the soft gentle sounds of Gandalf wafting from the tiny speakers of my IPad.

Dirty Work by Steely Dan. Seems to be the theme. Notes from day 1 of The Move: drink more water, bring an extra t-shirt, my impersonation of Richard Simmons does NOT motivate the $10/hr male temps - perhaps something more Clint Eastwood today, keep smiling this is only temporary, lift with knees, aspirin helps. Booze better - that's my 'carrot on a stick' to get me through! Oh and the 24' box truck handles wonderfully, we all like playing with the tailgate lift.

Been listening to clips from the Canadian Speed Polka Trio's new album online - the legal ones. I have seen it available online in its entirety, however. And that pisses me off to no end. Angry

That being said, what I've heard I love! Two songs stick out for me; The Wreckers and The Garden. But I know I'm going to love the whole thing in ONE week! [Image: thwhee.gif]

Jammin out to Deep Purple's 1984 return "Perfect Strangers". Great album to listen to whilst partaking in my favorite spirit...Absinthe Superieure. Cool

As we travel along in our truck going thru the wilderness of WI we have the soothing sounds of Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar by the Canadian Polka Trio playing. So be for you snicker and laugh at us you should take a listen to the CD on Itunes
