RE: The Nag-Thread
Ugh... My latest project is teaching my nieces how to do nail art (largely so they can do my nails and I don't have to pay for manicures anymore...). This evening was spent hot gluing false nails onto wooden kebab skewers. I managed to put my hand in hot glue at one point and in my panic to remove it, got glue on my other hand too. So fun when I peeled it off and my skin went with it. I keep thinking "why is my finger sore...?"

RE: The Nag-Thread
Never been to Nag's Head. But I've been to a Mule Roast!
I kid you not, these memorial day yoohoos actually thought they could pull off playing Midnight Confession by the Grass Roots by luring people to their coverband with the culinary delights of Mule. The sound of your hoofprints... bah bam baaah. Cloven hooved zipper thingies |

RE: The Nag-Thread
Ok, Im Tweaked. On my way home I got yelled at by an official for driving to fast through flowing water. Huh? So the Fire Department likes to blast water out of the hydrants from time to time to look cool on hot days in front of all the ladies in my home town. Great, but it makes my tap water turn brown and it kills my plants when I water them. Ok do I shower, shave and do all the nessessary things rinsing in rusty nasty brown demon water? Of course not silly, Ill go down to the store and purchase a britta filter system. While onroute, BAM!!!! Same hydrant, same water flow, same handsome fireman thats stealing MY women just BLASTED my hubcap off my car as I am driving past and through the unavoidable waterflow at a ratio of like a billion gallons a second or so. Now I gotta go find the goofy thing because it's sailing through the air like a frisbie. Soaked and mad I bite my tounge reminding myself, "it could be worse". Ok the hub cap is gone on arrival, unable to locate, outta there. Whatever!!
Walk into a store that is seriously cold. Like cold cold! The air conditioning was very much working overtime on this day for sure Hey mom, look at the mean man, why is he all wet? shhhhhhhh honey, Be quiet thats rude... Ok no britta water filters. Maybe coffee filters will do. Tea anyone? Ok, all that to say. nagnagnagnagnagnagnagnag fireman are great by the way and do an awesome job all the time. Don't talk smack about Total!! |

RE: The Nag-Thread
A question for our Northern brethrenz:
You know when the guest singers at sporting events take it upon themselves to butcher the opening song by seeing how many different notes they can inject into four counts? Does this happen at Canadian events? Does it torque your shorts as well? Hey - I'm all for "poetic license" but sheesh, you want to impress me with your pipes? Hold a strong note and let it fade beautifully away - like a sunset... yeah! That's it! Shoving four octaves and 32 notes into a four count is just ... well... IT JUST AINT RIGHT! <grumble-grumble-growl-growl...) You signed the contract - you must do my bidding

RE: The Nag-Thread
I am so not looking forward to today. I work in the capital of my country but I live in the middle of nowhere so I have to get the train in to work. Today in the capital we have... the city's football team playing their arch rivals (violent outbursts and general pillaging), a rugby international at the stadium (drunks and their vomit everywhere), the Stereophonics playing another stadium (little kids getting under my feet... though I do like the Stereophonics), the English Defence League going on a protest march (in Wales!), the Anti-Nazi League going on a March (meh), and a pro-Nazi group going on a March (gonna be fun... I don't think they would be stupid enough to harass a lone Jewish woman but if they do, I'll fight them all). I genuinely don't think I will be able to get a train home tonight. Last rugby day, I had to wait 3 and a half hours for a train and when I realised they still were not going to let us into the station, I had to get someone drive in to town to come and get me.
