![]() I have an Epi Les Paul Black Beauty with triple humbuckers. She plays real sweet ![]() (03-02-2012 08:16 AM)Rey Wrote: When you try to learn Rush songs, you will find that you can play bits and pieces of different ones, but not many all the way through. Thats the way it is with me anyway. Yep same here. I can play a handful all the way through but so many others I can only play a riff or a section or two. But we both keep bashing away at it, right Rey? ![]() ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |

RE: Your online "Handle"
Yes. I can play most of the rhythm parts, its the solos that throw me for a loop. I can play most of Spirit, even the opening riff, but not the solo. I can play most all of the first part of 2112, again except the solos, but the solos are a big part of that. Limelight is a fun one to play, when you can do that opening, its like, yeah! Oops sorry about sounding like a fan forum again, guilty as charged.

RE: Your online "Handle"
As I had stated in the intro thread for these forums...my name is Michael and my wife is named Monya (a name of a lady in an old Gary Cooper movie that was playing when my mother in law was pregnant with my wife), and so as we do quite regularly, we adopt the moniker "M and M".
It was funny to read that Neil likes the M&M Motel in Connell WA where I enjoyed a short stint of employment back when I had just gotten out of High School. It certainly was a down to earth hamlet back then, and I am betting not a lot has likely changed in the last 36 years. ![]() |

Dare I ask Rey - What is a "Saskatchewan Screamer"
I know there are certain parts of Yorkton, if you hear screaming, you best be running the other way and fast.... ![]() |
