What are you listening to?

RE: What are you listening to?
I don`t know what to do or say, except to say, if I could do something then you can believe I would. I have been there and was "crushed" by a bloke, who to be honest looking back was not fit to shovle my sh*t, but he was in power over me (by his birthright - his Daddy`s company), and we nearly lost the lot ourselves (had to sell our dream home - Tan`s absolute dream house, and the house the kids had grown up in - they were 6 and 4 when we left)........a bad time, but actually on reflection he didn`t "crush" us. I hate knobber`s in power - I have seen many in power who exude brilliance, but too often I see the other type.

I hope one day not to have to bother with Knobbers, and if one bothers me, then to have a "Fingers" who can pull off their arms and hit them on the head with the soggy end.......and perhaps write and publish a Phd Thesis called "Knobbers in Power and Business", and do loads of interviews explaining that their behaviour stems from their own poor performance in bed - or something like that - I need to do the research, but I am thinking that might be where the problem is........

Come the revolution mate! Sorry for ranting folks, it took me back to some very painful places for me.

RE: What are you listening to?
Oh no - there is nothing anyone can do. Maybe I am egging the rant on a bit here so should stop. In our case - kids are almost out of the house, so the empty nest will be hitting us before too long. We just dont want it to get to that level where we just give up and start making bad decisions on the whim of some jerk who thinks he can control your life. In my case - this particular gem has essentially blocked any hope of promotion, and then tells me to drop my beef and quit holding a grudge. Hey - you dont ascend to full licensure as a surveyor without working your tail off, and now my only hope is to either move and find a new job or just tough it out and eventually hope he leaves.

Ok....enough ranting. Sorry bud didnt mean to scarf over that wound. How about a little Neil Young?!?

Neil is not going to cut it for me tonight - so I have been out in the Studio playing along with Bonzo and Led Zep - A little bit of "In the Evening", then a bit of "Fool in the Rain"......and now I feel much better.........Playing the ddrum4se at the moment with the Sabian Paragons.......that is one hell of a drum kit.......

RE: What are you listening to?
I've been were you two have been, I won't egg on the rant...but when my boss I had(outlasted the weaselBig Grin) got on my nerves too much, I would have a tendency to blast some Maiden or Megadeth.

All the best wishes to you and Mrs. B Boomer. These little power mad tyrants always get it in the end. I truly believe that Karma can be a B*@#h. I'm glad we all have music we can listen to. At the moment is Foo fighters The Pretender.

I'm taking a ride with my best friend...I hope he never lets me down again.

RE: What are you listening to?
Oh trust me - I have music that annoys ...... Pantera, Trivium, Tool, just a few examples. I could break out some Maiden, but knowing my luck he'd like that. Prolly should stop my ranting and whining and get something done today even if it is wrong.

Lemmme seeeeee.......what else can I annoy him with? If I had one of those ipod stations I could pump my whole playlist of stuff at him.

Got a smelly food that you can enjoy in his presence? Some aged brick cheese maybe?

Naw...nothing like that. He was born in Wisconsin......they love cheese over there!

Wonder if I put a pair of my smelly socks from a hot day on the bike under his desk if he would notice? Oops - forgot the rotten tuna fish.

RE: What are you listening to?
Boomer....yes you may like cheese if you come from WI, but I know what Nettie is refering too as "smelly" cheese. It's called Limberger(out of Monroe,WI) OMG all you need to do is get the extreme aged stuff put it into a platic container and let it sit in the sun for a day or too. Trust me mustard gas would be a pleasant perfume after that, and the best part is you can say it was a gift to you to from your generous caring friends from the dairy state( ha!). Oh and sound track for today is the High School Band as it marches past the house for the Fireman's Annual Picnic/Parade
