For me, the new YES CD, "Fly From Here."
It took a few listens but I do think it is an excellent CD.

I was just looking for something to throw on the spinner and Rage for
Order jumped out at me; it was such a perfect precursor to Operation

Queensryche had become at one point - Silent Lucidity became an MTV

Just saw Buddy Guy w/Quinn on Friday night here in upstate NY! They opened for BB King. I honestly had no idea Buddy Guy was such a great performer, in addition to being an amazing musician, but the kid completely stole the show! Wonder if he can play La Villa though??? ;-)

Stevie died 21 years ago this month! Can you believe that? Seems like yesterday!

Mention of him makes me think of that great tune by Ray Wylie Hubbard, "Screw you (We're from Texas)" in which he sings the praises of the great musicians and clubs from Texas. "The best there ever was..." is how he describes SRV. If you've not heard this tune please check it out.
