I can't find these in my part of the midwest, usually have to stock up when I'm visiting family in my hometown of Cleve, so I practically squealed when I saw the jar on the shelf. After enjoying several bites of the "Sweet Hot Pickles & Peppers" and admiring the quirky label on the jar, it got me humming that YES tune "Our Song" from the album 90125: "Toledo was just another good stop along the good king's highway....." The only YES album I ever owned. Still have it (VINYL!) Might have to crack that open for another spin.... Blah blah blah....yada yada yada! |

RE: What are you listening to?
Hey Burma - what does "90125" refer to?
*tic-toc*tic-toc... SRV. Man - I miss that crazy bastad. "Crossfire" still gives me chills. I absolutely loved playing that. The last few bars where you just dive into it, and you look up at your band mates and they are all giggling and smiling like idiots... lost in the fog. Most of us are so caught up in life that we forget to live it. |

I get chills just from the first note of any song he did. Period. No one has ever in my book ever been able to play to that level before or since. I dont even think anyone has been able to emulate his riffs.Probably because his music is by far the most sacred form of blues ever played by human hands. There's a drummer 'round these parts that like that - but thats another story! Primary Principle - "It must NEVER be my fault" |
