Recommended book: Raw Energy
Stephanie Tourles does an excellent job of introducing this "technique" to your daily diet. She spends just enough time explaining the benefits of eating raw (enzymes, for the most part) and her recipes are tasty and easy to follow, with ingredients that are regularly available at "higher end" grocers (Hannaford, common in MA and NH, is my preferred destination). Most of the ingredients are vegan compliant and, if they're not, she offers alternatives (ex: Agave nectar instead of Honey).
I can't say that I'll be a convert, eating raw a large percentage of the time, but this is a good guide to have when you want to make healthier choices. I jumped the cliff with a dream to fly Without knowing the weight of feathers |
