Howdy!
Hello all, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jim, but all of my friends call me Jimbo; I live in the DFW area of Texas and love taking road trips on my bike. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you and hopefully expanding my horizons.

RE: Howdy!
Thanks Boom, I ride a Yamaha FZ1, hence the handle. It is a naked sports bike, but I have it set up for touring, large windscreen, bar risers, corbin seat, and custom made highway pegs. It is a great platform for getting to the twisties, and then be ale to carve the corners at a pretty brisk pace. I've put over 40k miles on it in the last 5 years..
Did you get your seat situation sorted out? |

RE: Howdy!
Yeah sort of. Bought a brand new 2011 Ultra Classic Electraglide. I'm not sure if thats solving the "seat" issue, but it solved a lot of other issues too.
Ran into a couple guys during a Patriot Guard funeral escort earlier this year that have those FZ1's. They put a Linda Ronstadt on me fer sure, but I wasn't really comfortable on one when I was looking at bikes earlier. Been a "Harley" guy since I was about 7 years old. RE: Howdy!
Howdy back at ya' TxFZ1! I lived in Richardson/Plano for a couple o' years back in 95-96, had a really cool pool hall just off the interstate that had good food too. Can't say as I miss 'ol Dallas much, but sure had some cool people there! Welcome aboard, pull up a barstool and have a drink while Brutus warms up the grill!
