A-10 Thunderbolt... or by the more affectionate, "Warthog." My favorite. A flying monster.
I want to be one when I am reincarnated... or re-animated, or re-combobulated. Whatever.
Incredible machine. Horrifying to anyone that opposes it in a battle. A flying gunfighter with a twenty foot gun that shoots through tanks. I love what one pilot said about his A-10 squadron: "We bring a knife to a knife fight, and a gun."
(A 4,000 round per minute, 30mm, seven-barreled Gatling gun that shoots tungsten-tipped shells )

SR 71. Words escape me. An unbelievably advanced, unbelievably powered, unbelievably fast and long-lived aircraft from the infamous Skunkworks.

Any of the infamous WWll fighters. The Stuka has always fascinated me. Imagine being in one during one of their dives?
Merlin engines... <sigh> Supercharged Merlin engines... <SIGH>. Mighty 8th Museum in Savannah has a room FULL of them. Some are cutaways that are rotating so you can see the good stuff!
Air racers (not the kitties... but the Reno big dogs) are also a favorite. Dago Red, of course, and this guy:
