Decorated cakes
Hey, I want to show off my Easter cake. I figured someone else would too, or any cake that you've decorated and are proud of.

For the cake?
It's from the Settlement cookbook, 1932 edition. I'll post that.

The frosting was a dump and see if it looks right thing. I always have to mess with the texture because it's milk free.
and I bought the bunny pan.

RE: Decorated cakes
I inherited my great aunts's rabbit and lamb cake molds. They are a 2 part set of molds that you put together and then pour in the batter and bake. It was always a Easter dessert staple growing up to have either the lamb or bunny cake. They are a putzy thing to bake/decorate, so they haven't been made in a few years. Which translates to when will I make the cake(as the family asks with a smile).

The pan I have is flat Wilton pan. It takes a whole cake mix, or 1 batch of sponge cake. It was pretty easy to do with a star tube, and I used a large one. You could probably do the same with the lamb. Or use flaked coconut over a thin layer of frosting.

The cake recipe is posted.
