Guinness - my all time favorite food group. Put it in cake, brownies, toss down a pint or two at the Irishman Pub downtown, maybe use for chili, or even try some in a beer batter.
I am hoping to have a pint or two next month. For You Steve & Monica - Your Love will forever shine on in our hearts!!!

Got p*ssed on my 21st with the boys from the band. Drank Murphy`s (similar to Guinness) and Bushmills (Irish Whisky) all night - got home comatose - was put to bed - and threw up all night, (was very nearly a rock `n ` roll death). The duvet was stained black from the Murphy`s........boy was I in trouble with the then misses.
She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker" |

RE: Cocktails, anyone?
Bushmills I am not crazy about, but the last time I had Murphys I had just eaten one order of Fish n Chips in Dunoon, and I dont know if it was the mix or just the Murphys, but the next day I was headlong into a toilet bowl. Havent had Murphys since, and I actually prefer Jamesons to Bushmills simply for flavor, but hey thats me.

Quote:prefer Jamesons My brothers favourite. Strangely, enough I dont think I have touched Guiness, Murphy`s or Bushmills since.........a bit like the time I skived school with a mate and got p*ssed on Morgan Rum and Coke.......only ever had Rum again as Rum Punches in the Caribbean. RE: Cocktails, anyone?
Ladies - Gents -
In remembrance of our... um, well... "EP9". For those of you that never met him... search backwards. Every forum has one, I suppose. Much to the amusement and aggravation of the rest of the group. At any rate, EP has been making his presence known in other forums, running screaming, naked, backwards, through the neighborhood... as usual, leaving a wake of scratching heads and goofy facial expressions in his wake. I dedicate the following to his memory. After the initial Brazilian caipirinha recipe was tried (we now have another Sau Paulo native in my team Brutus) I decided to give my imagination free reign. I filled a large glass with crushed ice, and doused the interior with six seconds (bartender measurement) of "Pitu" Cachaça. This equals about two shots. Adding a film of lime juice around the glass rim, I followed this with Mr. T's salt. I smooshed (HIGHLY technical term) half a lime and tossed it into the creation, giggling to myself. Did I mention that it's 103 here in Oz today? What were we talking about? Ah! Imagination run amok. I grabbed a basket a strawberries that I procured yesterday, and beheaded and cleaned couple - tossed them into the fray and stirred. (no raw sugar added this time... I assumed that the juice I was about to add would suffice) and it did. Add a bit of your favorite juice... shake it like you mean it... pour into that salt-rimmed glass... go to your MP3/CD/album/cassette / beta collection and be yourself. http://s782.photobucket.com/albums/yy102...irinha.jpg You signed the contract - you must do my bidding
