Oh no, is that what it does? Those ads don't come through in my Firefox browser, maybe I should remove the music link. Undecided

And yes, the tree trunk is on display in the schoolhouse, on it are the growth rings and written some dates in history when the tree would be that age. My tree in my front yard is about that big, it is a shame to have to lose it.

Tan was telling me about some killer disease killing English Oaks, like Dutch Elm disease did for Elms back in the early Seventies - pretty much a whole species wiped out, (they are just bringing on disease resistant Elms now).......It would truly be a sad day when our oaks have gone........we have maybe a 150 year old one in our garden......I would hate for that to go.......

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

I don't think that it's a Finch, HardwareGrl had some yellow Finches that were smaller. She would probably know what this type of bird it is.

Uh, Paging HardwareGrl for a bird analysis! Smile

I was going through a box of stuff this afternoon. Stuff from my high school and college graduations, and look what I found, not one, but two of these!

OMG Nettie, that was my first concert. Hubby(then long time boyfriend) bought us tickets as a high school graduation gift for me. Wow what a flashback in time remembering 93 Q-FM and the '84 show.

That was college graduation gift from my older sister. I have a family full of Rush fans! I remember waiting in line at 1812 Overture(record shop) to get tickets the day they went on sale.
