RE: Breakfast Anyone?
2 egg omelet with a few shakes each of garlic powder, chili powder, and cumin. A little "mexican style" cheese blend and some salsa on top made for a Tex Mex Omelet. The mid-morning snack will be organic yogurt from Stonyfield Farms.

For me breakfast is dinner - I am having a beer with leftover Shepard's Pie. My wife made it last night.

I fired up the grill and cook a nice small steak with grilled veggies. Of course I waved to other folks going to work with a beer in my hand.

RE: Breakfast Anyone?
Oh what a yummy breakfast I made myself this morning. Chopped up a fresh vidalia onion, and some turkey sausage, and attempted to make a big omelette. Well, despite me best intentions, it turned out as scrambled eggs instead, but it was still pretty good.

Trying to eat lighter, instead of using real eggs, I used a whole carton of this "Egg Beaters" product (the southwestern style one which has some peppers in it too). I wasn't so sure about this at first, but its not bad. It is made from egg whites, so is healthier and has no cholesterol, and is very low calorie. So I was able to enjoy a big heaping plateful without feeling guilty. Rolleyes

So do you have Shepherds Pie and Cottage Pie over there? Very similar dish, both with a mash potato topping but there is a big difference......
