RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
Hey Rey, that sounds like such a plan!
I love me some old cartoons; Rocky and Bullwinkle, George of the Jungle (and SuperChicken), the Warner gang, Disney... I still watch cartoons, I admit it. I love Animaniacs and Nickelodeon had a few good ones, too - I'd watch with Katie and loved that they'd sneak a few grown-up jokes in. Foghorn Leghorn was my Grandfather's favorite, though he was also fond of the Hanna-Barbera guys (Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, Yogi, et.al.) and nicknamed me Huckleberry Terri when I was little. When he died in 1996, my cousins and I ran all over Las Vegas trying to find a little stuffed Foghorn Leghorn to tuck inside his casket. The guy at the funeral parlor thought we were a bit touched, but I guess he's used to odd requests - he tucked ol' Foghorn right in there with our Popeye (I nicknamed him that when I was little because he was so big and strong). How many parents and Grandparents bond with their kidlings over cartoons? That alone, makes them a happy addition to society, IMO. I wonder what cartoons Bubba watches with Olivia....
... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |

Yes, Cap't Crunch, cartoons, Sigmund and the Seamonsters, Wonderama, Superfriends, and let's not forget Abbot and Costello late morning. Ah, being a kid on the weekend. H.R. Puffenstuff was a favorite when I was little! Pretty much any of those Sid & Marty Krofft shows were favorites.

Nice Sylvester and Tweetie clips Muffstifier!
Scythe, probably something on that's big now that mommy and daddy can tolerate. When my kids were small Little Bear was a favorite along with Sesame Street, Veggie Tales, Arnold...
