Same here SG! When one of my all-time favorites "Tombstone" came out in '93, we went as a family, probably the last film my Father saw in a theater. Every time I watch it, I remember him sitting there munching popcorn like a little kid!

And, it had some of the best one-liners of any movie I can think of, especially Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday: "I'm your Huckleberry!", "Your a daisy if you do!" or "Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself"!...classic!

Mamma bear and I sat down to the Stand by Stephen King on sunday. Good way to goof off almost 8 hrs. of your life. Long . But We like it anyway.

I rewatched Reservoir Dogs tonight. Awesome Tarantino flick.

It is one of my fav's...odd tho that I can't get the wife to watch it. She says its too violent, even though she watches all those investigative reports and cop type shows. I dunno, I'll never figure it out since she also liked Pulp Fiction.

We watched part of it, and she thought it was just ridiculous, the part where they get snakebit after shooting the Native American. She wasn't buying into it...and in the meantime I'm telling her its only a movie. She was laughing though, I guess in a roll your eyes way she enjoyed it.

Anything with Clint Eastwood! My alltime favorite by him was 'The Outlaw Josey Wales', also some of the best one liners in Western history!
Funny side story: My friend and I were watching this when it first came out when we were in high school and MAJOR fans of da' boys. The part where he comes up to the river crossing and ferry, and asks whose in the store. The ferry captain says "Just ole Granny Hawkins", and she comes out on the porch to give him his groceries? Remember that lady?! Well my buddy blurts out, in the theater, "She looks just like Geddy!"...I couldn't stop laughin' for 10 minutes!

That's a great adaptation of that book. Did you know they are - unnecessarily, IMO - remaking it? I mean, nobody but Gary Sinese can be East Texas! And Jamie Sheridan.... when he was on Law & Order:CI, I couldn't even stand to see him smile - I'd flash back to Flagg and get the creeps. Another waste of money in Hollywood

I watched an old favorite last week; The Other. It came out when I was in Junior High and my friend and I loved it so much we'd call each other Niles and Holland (I was Niles). I hadn't seen it in years. Very nostalgic.

Just got done watching Bloody Sunday. It's about the shooting in Derry, North Ireland in the 1970's. U2 wrote the song Sunday Bloody Sunday about it. A powerful movie to watch.
