RE: Shall We Play A Game
Oh, should have known, I played with a Heart tribute band for a couple of years in the Chicago area...87-89...Loved digging into those rhythms...Barracuda, If Looks Could Kill, Heartless...etc

"in the state of Indiana"

"Listen...Jump on a moonbeam and rise, ride it, glide it all the way"

Nice job with the rose. I'd be flying on that too.
How about: "I used to suck cigars, now I suck velamints."

Ok...BW...had to look that one up, but when I found it, the mint reference was not Velamints, but some other kind of mint...could it be a "mishear" or possibly a different song?? Hmmm...either way, I never would have gotten it!!!

Ack! A BIG thank you Deb. I guess I'll move my post over to the mis-heard lyrics thread. Upon double-checking my line, it should read:
"I used to smoke cigars, now I suck polo mints." (Oh, those Brits and their accents...)
Kinks, Low Budget.

Here's a line from a groupthat never quite made it as well as I thought they should: "When I look up at the stars at night, what could I find beyond the light, a hundred million worlds that we ignore."

I'm taking a ride with my best friend...I hope he never lets me down again.
