As do I, in fact: I'd rather have a proper British sense of humour any day. It's that intellectual thing, I guess. Closest the Yanks have come to that is probably Tom Lehrer, thinking about that pub called Alma, which is also one of my favourite little ditties of his.

Still one of my favourite things to watch is that old Monty Python
"Twit Of The Year Contest" sketch. If I've seen it once, I've seen it a thousand times and it never seems to get old.

There are so many I know by heart: Dennis Moore, the Hungarian phrase book, Angus Podgorny and the blanc-manges, Blackmail, the funniest joke in the world, and pretty much everything with Graham Chapman, who went to school with the wife of a good friend of mine.
