By explanation, for me at least,
What is going on at work is unreal. So many staff members have been injured, ill, or having seriously ill relatives, or have had a close family member die(and in some cases, all 3!) that we are all just totally drained.
Hardly anyone has had a good year, except those who had babies!
There are two more weeks of school, and we're just praying that nothing else happens, and that's just the staff...the kids have a lot going on too.
We all need a good giggle!

My crazy Texan/Irish neighbors decided a few weeks ago that they needed to sell their house and downsize both literally and financially. We didn't think too much about it because the price they were asking was astronomical, not to mention what would we do without each other? They told us the most difficult part of deciding to sell the house was having to leave us....

Last Thursday, they had an appointment to show the house--the 1st potential buyer. Well, he bought it for CASH without blinking an eye. They have less than a month to be out. They're going to move closer to the church--about 30 min away. I was all teary for 3 days. Even now, I don't want to talk about it. We are so isolated here, and now even more so. Knowing there are far more serious situations that others are facing makes me feel kind of dumb and superficial, but there it is....

If anyone is in here tonight, I'm buying. I'll have a Corona Light with lime (the diet and all).

I'll have one of those, a Corona sounds good. Wow! Sold just like that? I wish someone would buy my house, just like that. Then I would look for another house out in the country, that has no neighbors at all. Surprised? Funny how different people want different things? I suppose if you could pick your neighbors it would be different, but all of them around here really bug me. They are all very rude and inconsiderate. How did you get someone nice?

How do you get nice neighbors...fall into it. At my last apartment building, no one would talk to us, but here(at my house), everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We've heard that our new neighbors are a divorced Christian man who lives with his mother. No kids. I'll certainly welcome them, as I did the crazy neighbors. Keeping an open mind.....

I'll put the kettle on as since today is the 1st of the month on a Friday that has followed a Holiday it will be a bit busy at work for me. Oh, and it's also the village wide rummage sale and Graduation too.
