In all seriousness, I think the CS is THE bottle in the range. (Now admittedly I have never even had anything older than the 12 but I suspect it would tough to beat the combo of value and SIZZLE that the CS has.) The higher OH content really takes the normally great Macallan flavors & essences and makes them just sparkle. Insanely good stuff!

I think the stronger flavors give it the right combination and really add to the whole experience, but Ive tried a number of single malts that are not cask that are chock full of flavors. I just like that extra KICK though. Primary Principle - "It must NEVER be my fault" |
