RE: Murder on the Capsaicin Express
Being of Asian descent, and living in East Los Angeles, I have a weird palate. I can eat a lot of Japanese food as well as Mexican/Spanish food. And capsaicin: Jalapeno, Serrano, Cayenne and Habanero with food of course, is a part of my diet. But one thing that capsaicin is also famous for is pepper spray. I had a can once of 10% pepper spray. Being drunk one Summer, (I live in East L.A.), I was eating nachos. I was bored, so I brought out my can of pepper spray, sprayed the nacho and ate it. I felt no effect whatsoever.
Was it wrong to eat the pepper-sprayed nacho? Maybe, but it had no effect. |

The popped some goggles on him and sprayed him in the face. Still killed his eyes, and blistered his skin a bit. He still can't tell me which was worse though, the pepper spray or the taser ride! I got jalapeño in my eye once, thought I'd gouge out my eye, I think I'd gladly eat the pepper and take the ride... Do deep thoughts and lofty ideals cancel each other out? |

RE: Murder on the Capsaicin Express
I was a civilian officer, not a sworn officer. The sworn got nothing but pure pepper spray in the face.
My hubby loves anything hot. When we go have Thai food, he asks for "Thai spicy" and then puts hot chili sauce on it, as well! Me? I'm a wimp in that department! If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes... |
