Microwave Cake Yum!

I was talking to my friend yesterday who was moaning about the work ahead of her when she said, "If it wasn't for the cake my husband brought me, its the only thing sustaining me..."
I stopped listening as soon as my friend said "Cake".
It then became an obsession for me, I NEEDED CAKE, HAD TO HAVE CAKE...
Quick look in the cubboard, no cake mix.
*sigh*
The cake obsession was getting stronger by the moment, I HAD to do SOMETHING.
But it had to be FAST.
MUST. HAVE. CAKE.
SO, onto the interwebs I go, and I found this...
I had a 9" vanilla cake in about 12 minutes.
Any you know what? It was good!
Keep this in mind if you need a fast dessert, or are just plain desperate for CAKE.
P.S. It converts just fine to gluten free, the only thing I did different is added 1T. of baking soda. instead of 1 1/2 t.

One of the craft shops I was in last week had a handmade, fired but unglazed, little pot, along with a recipe for chocolate cake to be done in the micro. Much like this one. What a brilliant idea!

Reminds me of my sister's old 'Suzie Bake Oven' HWG!...took a little longer with that 40 watt light bulb for a heat source though!
