RE: Gardening.....
Wow, great work! I have photos I'd love to post but can't get it to work for some reason.

RE: Gardening.....
Scythe, have you ever carved soft wood? I bet you'd be great at it!
Monarchs are gone. More mosquitoes I notice in their place. Migrating birds have left or are leaving. Flowers still in full bloom, even with nights in the 40's. Red Red-leaf and white Begonia, Alyssum, Geranium, Purple-leaf New Guinea Impatiens, Blue Salvia, Marigold.... The best and longest lasting garden ever! I'm already thinking about this spring.Taking notes. I seem to forget some things after a long winter, so just in case... I seem to be getting better at this overall. Picked some fresh red and green basil. Dropped it with a large can of Campbell's Tomato Soup, equal part 1% Milk, 1/8 cup of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of tabasco; simmered to a boil. Not bad and it took about 2.3 minutes. Okay, maybe five. "Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then." "Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup." "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." |

Nope, never tried wood. That's Ren Man's thing.
I love adding basil to tomato soup - tres yummy!! And wonderful on a cold night ![]() The wooly bear caterpillars are everywhere right now. And them little buggers have THICK coats! I've found that the folklore about the thickness of their coats predicting the severity of the winter is pretty spot on. So this one will be pretty nasty.....
