You people psych me up! All of my annuals are in-I went a little overboard! The perennials are just about to "pop."
It was good that I had them "tune-up" my irrigation system this year. Now I don't have to worry about all those dry spots I used to have. The problem is that the weeds are growing faster too! This year's theme in the garden is "aroma and butterflies." I planted anything that has a nice scent: alyssum, purple petunia, roses, herbs, and anything that attracts butterflies: buddlea-however it's spelled, loostrife, cosmos, lantana, tall phlox... so far I feel very satisfied with the way everyhting's growing...except the weeds! Any suggestions for plantings for more butterflies?? Gungawoman-I always wanted a greenhouse. Are you building from scratch or is it a kit?
