My three favoritest favorite sandwiches

In no particular order:

Turkey Cran'wich
Cracked wheat bread
Mayo (the read stuff, not Miracle Whip), lots of it
Extra sharp cheddar cheese
Turkey (piled high)
Cranberry sauce
Thinly sliced red onion
Romaine lettuce

Super simple and super tasty.


Chicken Salad
Challah bread
Cubed chicken breasts (I usually pick up a rotisserie chicken from the deli and pull all the meat making a huge batch of chicken salad fixins), mixed with mayo and diced celery and red onion, some salt and pepper
Thick sliced bacon

Drooling as I write this…


Veggie’wich
Cracked wheat bread
Again, mayo, totally slathered on
Pepper Jack cheese
Bread and butter chips (best pickle slices EVER)
Red onion
Peppercini
Jalapeno peppers
Black olives
Tomato
Romaine lettuce
Drizzle of good olive oil and red wine vinegar

Very messy but so good!


Honorable sandwich mention:
Greek Pizza
Greek flat bread
Hummus
Sliced cucumber
Red onion
Feta cheese
And then a drizzle of Ranch dressing and Sriracha sauce over top.

Had a killer sandwich in Chianti. Very simple but delicious. Take a good french baguette, add a slice of prusciutto di Parma (only one layer); fresh arugola, a sliced tomato and a smear of cream cheese. Awesome.
