Brute' -
Below is a direct translation to the english version at the bottom: You're on your own locating "cachaca" in Edmonton. ******************************************************** Classic Caipirinha Recipe: In an old fashioned or flat bottomed glass, add: 2 to 3 (depending on size) key limes cut into thin slices (approximately 1/8 inch thick). Some people like to peel the limes before slicing - but this eliminates the lime oil in the peel, which many believe to be essential for an "authentic" taste. You may want to remove the seeds unless you like straining them through your teeth. Add 2 to 3 heaping tablespoons of very fine sugar to the top of the lime slices (Brazilians like it VERY sweet) Muddle (mash) sugar and limes together well. Add 2 to 3 shots (ounces) cachaça. Stir well to thoroughly dissolve the sugar, add cracked ice, stir Most of us are so caught up in life that we forget to live it. |

This is so cool! I like the side by side translation because it's always nice to know the correct translation to the murdered words one is spouting. I was never much good at "book learnin'" and for me to really absorb something I need to almost make it a game....something fun....thankfully I have a very good short term memory. It got me through high school and into university..but now that that sort of stuff is no longer important I try to make fun of the things that interest me. Thanks for playing.
Sacred cows make the best hamburgers. I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughtnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, 'Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".' |

Hey ePhilosopher9, do you have a good Bloody Mary recipe?
"Life ain't like books. Books got somebody writin' 'em and tryin' to entertain ya. Life is more like a set of Legos. Unless you take care of 'em, you lose a few pieces and you end up steppin' on 'em with bare feet. You gotta take care of your life." ~Laura Moncur |

And I love to drink them with Bubba-Q'd Gershon's Sausages for a Sunday Brunch eye-opener on this glorious Independence Day! ...and since we're not serving seafood since the oil spill, instead of Clamato, we will start with: Bloody Bull Eye-Opener 6 ounces Beef-a-mato Juice 2 ounces Grey Goose Vodka 2 ounces Absolut Citron Vodka 1 ounce Stoli's Vanilla Vodka 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce 1 teaspoon hot sauce 1/2 teaspoon Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning 1/2 teaspoon Try Me Tiger Sauce 1/2 teaspoon Horse Radish 1/2 teaspoon Celery Salt 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt 2 teaspoons Lime Juice 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice Freshly ground black pepper and sea salt to garnish Side Salad -aka Garnish I've always considered a Bloody Mary a meal in itself, for if a beer is liquid bread, a bloody mary is the drink that's a salad! Celery sticks Pickled okra Pickled green bean Giant Sword skewered with green pimento olives, alternating concurrently with cream cheese stuffed olives, tiny holland onions, cherry tomatos, and Gershon Sausage slices... and finally, cucumber slices on both of your eyes, and one the glass' rim shot! ...and three cool and remote St. Pauli's Girls to wash it down! Happy Fourth of July & Sunday Brunch Eye-Opener To Y'all! Enjoy! There is a possibility that you will lose it. It's better to be careful about it especially if this is so expensive. One could go on a high salt, extra fat diet in order to avoid such things from happening. I've been trying to get a ring off my middle finger for years. Don't talk smack about Total!! |

Cocktails are a perfectly good waste of booze. Certain things in life are better straight up.
