RE: Favourite Films
Anyone catch "Greenberg" yet?
A strange, mostly depressing film. My wife and I caught it when we were staying in a hotel and she was so turned off she made me stop it before it ended...I hate that because now I cannot find how it ended (apparently it ends rather suddenly and rather ambiguously). Practically EVERY film's plot can be found on line but I cannot find the actual ending anywhere...can anyone chime in? From what I can tell, we were literally minutes away from the end (when the "party" scene with the college kids starts...) so I am frustrated. I cannot let go of the thing until I know what happened. Ugh!

"Second Hand Lions" - watched that again the other night.
Delightfully surprising.

I Heart all the Christopher Guest movies. Waiting for Guffman and Best in Show are my two faves. Of course, Spinal Tap=classic.

Others are:
Princess Bride
Shawshank Redemption
To Kill a Mockingbird
Meet Me in St. Louis
Frankenfish (just kidding)
Some Like it Hot
Star Wars: episode 4

Oh yeah, as far as my favorite portrayal of Satan goes, South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut

"Mighty Wind" and "Spinal Tap" are my personal favorite Guest films.

I love "Best in Show" or how about "A Mighty Wind" or even "Spinal Tap." I consider those core actors to be the Canadian Montey Pythons. What other Chris Guest movies are there out there? I want to see them all!!!

I think we have them all covered in the last few posts except For Your Consideration. That was the latest release if I recall correctly. It's hilarious, too.

Being a fan of all of Christopher Guest's movies myself, For Your Consideration came across to me as a sad tale of how beautiful creative thoughts and ideas are spun so much to be lamestream that a great religious homecoming of family is turned into a non-religious politically correct media mogul manipulated thing as Thanksgiving!

It's so hot this summer...gawd... I dream of the Fall again... the lovely season of turning of the leaves, NFL, octoberfests, and oom papa bands... but mostly i long for fall and the joyous holiday season, simply because of the thought of all the pies that i will eat.

Anyway, you're all invited!
