RE: Favourite Films
NWo, I rented Paul last night and it had that similar kind of humor. But I'm a sucker for alien stuff. A great poke in the eye from you Brits. Thanks, and recommended.

The same team that did SuperCop and Shawn of the Dead. Don't forget to watch the extras!

If you're hip to all the current alien hits, you'll enjoy Paul. It's a funny homage in its way to all the classic SF/alien films. Don't forget to look at the t-shirts!

I completely forgot about that one! Yes, I want to be sure to see it, thanks.

We picked up Kick-A$$ on Blu-Ray for $8 and watched it Saturday. Very violent but quite funny. Though Nicholas Cage overdid it a bit. Wink

... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big!

RE: Favourite Films
I had a late birthday present arrive the other from Livi - "Goodnight Mr Tom". Stars the late John Thaw, who plays an old village blacksmith during WW2, and has a London evacuee foisted upon him. The lad cannot read or write, or ride a bike, and Tom (the blacksmith) sets about helping him. They live in a tiny 2 bed black and white (which reminds me of our first cottage - hence why I like the film a lot), and has at its backdrop the misery of war (the lads only mate is killed in the Blitz when returning to London - as are his parents), a pregnant mother (the school teacher) husband (and RAF Pilot) is posted MIA, etc.
But the scenes of village life in the war, (steam trains at the local tiny branch stations), and the occasional Spit zooming over head make it for me.

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

RE: Favourite Films
Ok, this isn't my 'Favourite' film, as I haven't even seen it yet (Tongue), but you have to check out the trailer for it here. It seems Adam Sandler is a big fan of the CPT too! Notice the hood of his car @ 0:22 and @ 0:33 second marks! I thought about doing that to my Dad's old Volvo!...seriously!

WARNING: This is the 'R' rated version, so a little nudity and language, but AFTER the above mentioned marks!...enjoy!Smile
