I love the old Don Knotts flicks. He was amazing in his prime I think.
Jerry Lewis too. He just doesn't get the respect he should have for some of his movies. The Bell Boy was fantastic. The Nutty Professor also a great movie of his.

Here is a gem that few know about. If you remember who Jackie Gleason was, there is a movie he did in 62 called Gigot. He like Lewis in The Bell Boy, doesn't say a single line. It is one of my favourites from when I was a kid. A masterful job in my opinion.
