RE: Tales from Ol' Swivelhead
Not a motorcyclist, but a similar case as we are discussing here...
A lady was out riding her horse along the side of a rural-ish road, when she and her horse got hit from behind by a "distracted" and speeding 16-yr-old in an SUV. The horse was killed almost instantly (it was dead w/in a few minutes). The woman suffered some pretty serious injuries herself. The driver of the SUV wasn't hurt nor was sited with anything...nothing at all. That is just flat out wrong. It was never said what the distraction was. Love and respect... Turn up the music and smile! "Adventures..." |

RE: Tales from Ol' Swivelhead
Probably his cell phone or stereo. This really pisses me off. We live in a rural area and I can't tell you how many times our fence has been destroyed by speeding, drunk or just stupid drivers. Our paddock has one fence alongside the road. After one accident several years ago, Ren Man buttressed the paddock fence with railroad ties. He was making damned sure that if someone hit it, we wouldn't have to worry about our daughter's horse being injured or killed.
I can't believe that that driver isn't facing any charges. WTH? If it were me, I'd sue the crap out of him.
... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |
