Hey, if you think having Dr Halitosis for a physician is a problem, you got nuthin.

My doc is Dr Ben Dover.

Losers visualize the results of failure and live in fear.
Winners visualize the results of success and live in abundance.

Oh come on NBC. Thrall us with your acumen!

I am wondering if a pilots license is required for that little craft. That looks sooooo much fun. Do I hear Santa's sleigh yet?

RE: Observations and Innuendo
No license required Boomer... however it is HIGHLY recommended that you at LEAST pilot an RC aircraft and have the basic understandings of flight control before you attempt a solo.
It's like I tell "newblets" that come to the RC field thinking they are going to fly that shiny, new RC airplane with no experience and no problems:
"Where shall I send the remains?"
This is a Quicksilver MXll / Sport. Rotax motor (water-cooled / detuned to 65 HP I believe) so it has plenty of guts to spare.
'Bout 17K used but in perfect condition.

You signed the contract - you must do my bidding

RE: Observations and Innuendo
Uh oh. I feel a new toy in my future. I have the basic understanding of aerodynamics, flight controls, hydrodynamics, nuclear physics, yadda yadda yadda. If it sits out at 65 HP that should be enough for me anyways. Heck - my Harley tuned out runs about 72 HP, but the hard part is coming up cash and a new bed for my den, because if I go out for one of those, my wife is gonna banish me to the den for a fortnight or three. Ah well - its easier to ask forgiveness. But I think you're right. I took the motorcycle course before I bought my Harley. I have a couple friends who are bona fide pilots, and I am quite sure they wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction of some proper instruction. Any links I should be up on? I don't want to just dump into this but better start the learning curve!Big Grin

Golly I hadn't been called Boomski since my first daughter was born. SWEET!Smile

GIT HIM MUFASA - GIT HIM ! ! !Tongue

RE: Observations and Innuendo
In all seriousness Boomer - locate a pilot.... even if all they are qualified on is an ultralight.
This will help to prevent the one, single thing that kills beginners on these: The belief that you can fly... no matter what..
just because you have wings above your head.

RE: Observations and Innuendo
Thats the thing - about the only thing I am really qualified to fly is a submarine. Really!Tongue
I won't get too all excited about it, but like I said. I know a couple of Cessna pilots who have connections for instruction. Thats probably my first step. But it might be a goal for, say my 50th birthday (coming up here in the next few years!).Angel

Unless I start sprouting feathers out my a@@ ! ! !Big Grin
