RE: Observations and Innuendo
Thanks - I have been very lucky with both of them.
Kat got the full ride at UGA, but decided to do her "necessary evils" at Georgia Southern University. She said that UGA is a quote: "Freaking city dad!" GSU is an hour from Savannah, which makes dad sleep much better at night, and they offered her the same deal there plus varsity flyer squad. She can transfer to UGA later if she chooses. You signed the contract - you must do my bidding

Muffy what lovely ladies you have, and I know from another fellow father no matter how old they are there are moments when they are still your little girls.
If you can't play by OUR rules take your toys and go home!!

RE: Observations and Innuendo
Very splendid mate - They grow up so quickly.
She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker" |

RE: Observations and Innuendo
I remind both of them (when they start thinking that they know more than I do) that I was the one that changed their first diapers...
BOTH of them. You signed the contract - you must do my bidding

RE: Observations and Innuendo
They grow up fast, don't they? My older daughter is almost 22 and the "little one" just turned 18. The 18 year old has her last dance recital (been dancing for 15 years) and was told today she's getting a solo. Papa's trying to figure out how he's not going to be a blubbering idiot while his little girl dances for a thousand people. Then she's off to college where she's been recruited heavily for the...get this...cheerleading team! All those years of me telling her to do something that would get her noticed and I now have egg on my face. Oh well. I still know bigger words and stuff and can do fractions and...
Dang, I'm gonna miss her. I jumped the cliff with a dream to fly Without knowing the weight of feathers |

RE: Observations and Innuendo
Boy dh....you and Mufasa ought to compare notes!
BTW - if you're trying to figure out how NOT to be a blathering imbecile, don't bother. When it comes to daddy's girls, you might as well accept your fate and move on with life. Mine are 23 and 16, and trust me I do the same thing with them. For You Steve & Monica - Your Love will forever shine on in our hearts!!!
