Yes, I would like that! With pauses while he sips The Macallan, tinkling ice cubes and all. Big Grin

While HE sips or while I sip the Macallan? I think that works both ways!!!

I like the idea of audio books. He has such a nice voice.

Anyone read "On the Beach" by Neville Schute? Without giving away a great ending, it's about the aftermath of a nuclear war. Very suspenseful.

I would agree with that, and he reads very well. He could have a second career reading for audio books, or narrating movies, or documentaries.

Really? Oh you mean those raptures from the other thread?

Audiobook idea: Maybe also add the sound of a crackling fireplace in the background. And maybe do that treatment to his voice like on the beginning of the Necromancer, well on the other hand, maybe not that last one, would take a long time to get through a book. Big Grin

The audio book idea is wonderful, although I don't know if I'd ever get to hear the whole book. His voice has a soothing quality that I'm afraid I'd get about 1 to maybe 2 pages heard before I'd be sleeping..
