Piccolo, "C", alto, and bass flute. The guy could switch around effortlessly. And play reeds too? Amazing dexterity. It is hard to keep both embouchures up and running.

You like flute? Check out the band "Greyboy" and the tune "La Jolla." Superb flute work...very jazzy.

It's the kids. Like I said before either of the girls or their boyfriends will say "hey I think you'll like this".

Even if one does have access to XM, it is hard to really get exposed to music that is somewhat out of one's home range. Having someone (generally younger) point out specific music is a great thing. I have "bagged" some great new music in the past that way.
