Start by recognizing it, acknowledging it, but not snapping back at it. See it as an old thing that you know well. You know how to let it roll off of you. Just try to take yourself out of the loop. A bit of perspective makes a big difference. As Tug McGraw used to say, the reason he could be so calm is that he knew that in a thousand years, no one would even remember anything about today. The easy part is keeping music in my head. Still trying to figure out that drum solo! The hard part is getting away, blowing off steam.....I recognize what the problem is - but I can't DO anything about it. Thats the hard part, especially working two jobs, trying to manage children, my wife's health, the IRS (long story!), and a host of other issues we all have, but I just can't seem to get things under control. So tonight I have promised myself to come up with something of an itinerary for a trip on the bike. This is all assuming that my wife can get some of those surgery things taken care of. My sister suggested I go see a doc about my stress, but all he keeps telling me is take a vacation. All that edication to overstate the painfully obvious! For You Steve & Monica - Your Love will forever shine on in our hearts!!!
