RE: What are you listening to?
I heard some of that on the way home last night BW, definitely one of my all time favourite Hoilday albums. I love the way Ian's voice blends in with the strings and flute harmonies...Classic Tull!
I've been meulling over some old Joe Walsh as of late myself, The Confessor in particular. There's really some awsome guitar work on there, along with a lot of odd drum sounds, probably some of the earliest "triggered" effects or samples that were made. All around a great listen! ![]() "Rollin' numbers, rock-n-rollin', got my Kiss records out!" |

Excellent!! ![]() I bought the song I kept hearing them do on all those shows. The studio version is so different! I've asked for their CD for Yule. Oh, and all 3 of my CDs came yesterday. I've ripped them to my computer but have only been able to listen to one song: Grace by Jeff Buckley. I'm almost afraid to listen to Hallelujah... afraid it will make me cry. But I will. Baby steps. ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |

RE: What are you listening to?
I just listened to the live version of 2112 on Different Stages (I think you know why - hint; look at the date). That must have really been something to see! I really don't know why we didn't go see this show and I'm beating myself up about it. Well, okay not literally, but you know.
I imagine those of you who saw it felt much the same as those of us who saw Genesis do Supper's Ready on their Abacab tour..... ![]() Happy International Canadian Folk Trio Day! ![]() ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |

RE: What are you listening to?
Been listening to this song a lot this week
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXCEdrnaF...re=related And I've learned to play it. It's not too hard, really. We add Ren Man on keys and his brother on his guitar and we'll sound great! Now, if we could just get Katie to song it.... ![]() ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |
