RE: What are you listening to?
Avalon (Roxy Music) was playing on my car stereo late one Summer night down on River Street. I was sitting on the edge of a fountain, a few feet away from my car, with a Guinness draft from Kevin Barrys Pub.
Two young ladies walked over and one asked if that was my car, and what was playing on the stereo. Well, I dated one of those young ladies for the rest of the Summer, and into Fall... until she decided to marry her ex-boyfriend that called her one day from Atlanta - after hearing that she was seeing "The drummer that played for Gary Apple." <sigh> What a great Summer though Most of us are so caught up in life that we forget to live it. |
