RE: What are you listening to?
Been listening to Subdivisions a lot the past few days. Ren Man and I have been working on it - he on keys and me (barely) on guitar. I'm doing pretty well but the picking pattern behind the chorus is tripping me up. Just when I think I have it down (3-2-0-0-0-4, 2-4-0-4), Alex changes it up by a few notes... gah!

RM - oddly enough, when I even hear the name Greg Lake... that is the song I think of.
Lanix - about the only thing I remember by The Smiths is "How Soon Is Now". Eerie and haunting. Most of us are so caught up in life that we forget to live it. |

RE: What are you listening to?
C'est la Vie!
My favorite time for that was at Madison Square Garden for the "Works" Tour when they had the orchestra. Greg's voice on that song was amazing. I remember thinking that the soundman needed a raise! And when Emerson wandered out from the wings with his accordian to play the solo...sublime! "I don't cook; I prepare things." My late brother Bill |

RE: What are you listening to?
Yesterday was a mix of Peter Murphy, Paramore, NIN, Bauhaus, Morrisey, and a certain Canadian Trio. Who knows what today shall bring.
I'm taking a ride with my best friend...I hope he never lets me down again. |
